Games and SoftwareSadly jazzy avant-garde religious music isn't lucrative, so game development is how I make my living. I often half-jokingly say that my games are secretly a way to get people interested in my music.
My design process is holistic and semi-improvisational so I prefer to handle the game design, art, music, sound design, and writing myself and at my own pace. I'm not interested in code or maths so usually I work with a programmer (primarily Mike Lasch. hi Mike!) to help me cobble together something resembling legitimate software. There's almost always a theological and ideological set of ideas that I build each work around. I don't think I could motivate myself to finish anything were it a mere aesthetic indulgence. My work should leave a person better off for having spent time with it. My commercial game releases:
